Pantry Door

I am so excited with my pantry door. I know ..so simple. Isn't it the simple things that make us happy? Like, my daughter asking me for advice, my son asking for one more kiss goodnight ( I know he's stalling but I like to think it's about his love for his mommy), my other daughter just coming up from behind me when I'm cooking and wrapping her arms around me, my kids getting along, my husbands kind gesture, and MY PANTRY DOOR!!!

So, over the weekend Emma, my mom & I set out to paint the kitchen.....

I don't have a before pic of the pantry door. It is one of those white bi folding plain , boring doors. That was dingy from all the handling. So..as I was painting the wall I had this AHA! moment. I distressed the door, took a knob I had on something else and...VOILA! My new pantry door. I took pics to share and squealed with satisfaction that everyone should come look at my door.

Then it was back up the ladder to paint the trim on the ceiling.
