Very amateur ... I know. But I am still really loving my french pillows. I have these blank , plain pillows. It just hit me (maybe something inspired me on Pinterest) to go get some fabric paint and have fun. I could stare at Pinterest for hours, until it all becomes a blur. Anyway, I think I need some practice and I did this freehand (not bad) for a first time. I know I should use a stencil , but I always seem to smudge the paint when I lift the stencil up. Any tips from you experts would be great!!
SPRING BREAK has officially begun. I kicked it off with a nasty cold but am feeling much better. We are staying home and I really thought entertaining the kids would be tiresome. It's been great, very Spring Breaky. We did the beach, the pool, sleep overs, umm..that's all so far. It's been fun. My baby's Birthday is tomorrow. I am not having a big party this year. Feeling a little guilty. He is turning 6. We are going to an amusement park for the day & dinner with his grandparents. Sounds fun..right?
I know everyone has different Spring Breaks depending on where you live. Any exciting plans? I hope it's harmonious whatever you do!
I am a BIG amusement park fan, so I think that sounds like an awesome birthday celebration - - we used to go to Disneyland every year for my birthday when I was young :) AND I love the pillows!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun birthday party and NO guilt allowed - you are a great mom :) Glad you are feeling better and enjoying the break with your kiddies!
