Bedroom Makeover..Update

Happy Saturday All...It's a rainy day for me and I am cozied up with the kids watching movies. I am slowly finishing my bedroom makeover. So, I decided to share what we have done so far.

Do you love the bed frame? There is actually a story behind it. This was a gift from my mom. This frame was bought at ABC Home & Carpet (love love love that store) years ago. I have been eyeing it since. Well, she decided to get a new mattress and go to a king from a queen. Funny thing, we also needed a new mattress (desperately). Since, I HAD to have this bed frame I was willing to go from a king to a queen. After convincing my husband that we will be fine with a queen we moved forward with it. Yay!

I have to say I was secretly nervous about a queen after years in a king (sleeping on separate ends of the earth from my husband). 

I LOVE SLEEPING IN A QUEEN! Who knew? It's cozy. I love being close to my husband and actually being aware that he is next to me. (talk to me in a month).
