National Blog Posting Month...
You would think committing to my 30 day Habit Change..now on my day 3 of jogging..I am committing to blogging everyday for the month of Feb!
Not sure what I have gotten myself into. The theme is RELATIVES..today's writing prompt..Tell us something about your MOM...OK that's easy being she is my most favorite person in the world (up there with my kids and my man)..Here it goes...
My mom NEVER leaves the house without RED lipstick on..NEVER
She will garden with RED lipstick on
She will always come running before you can finish asking for help
My mom would take us to the beach for the day, outlet shopping and to dinner in NYC..all in one day...as a single mom
DO NOT..and I mean DO NOT invite my mom to your pity party. She will not attend
She will tough talk you until you pick yourself up, look in the mirror , put some lipstick on (preferably red) and face the world again
She will decide to paint and wallpaper her dining room at 2pm on Saturday and by 2am on Sunday it will be done and gorgeous!!
My mom loves unconditionally and with her whole heart
My mom lives each day and gives all she has to give...oh and she's a shopaholic
She lives for her grandchildren..and she over seasons her dinners ..we all leave her house hungry
She laughs at herself and the world around her...
My mom is a beautiful , strong women...grateful for her each and every day!
That's a great tribute to your mother! I love the red lipstick even in the garden! Not everyone can pull that off. She sounds like a great lady. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteYour mom sounds a lot like my MIL: there are no pity parties allowed and she has far more energy than anyone else I know. She decided she wanted to garden and in 3 years her garden attracts international bus tours and made the cover of Better Homes And Garden.
